What is the difference between a "tattooist" and an "artist?" <br>A tattooist knows how to tattoo. An artist knows how to draw.
What is your ideal tattoo shop like? <br> It would be like the shop I currently work at, Platinum Ink the South location on IH35 in Austin, TX.
Who does your own tattoos? <br>All of my tattoos vary from artist to artist.
What was your first tattoo and why did you get it? <br>A symbol started from my initials that I created in my early teens. I got it because I represented me.
Do you think every tattoo has to have "meaning?" <br>No, the more your get tattooed the more your start to understand that the art is more powerful than the meaning.
If you could do tattoo work for one celebrity who would it be? Why? <br>I would tattoo Dave Grohl so I could hand him my band, Talking Controversy's EP so I can get us signed. I think he would dig it.
What celebrity tattoo do you think is the best? <br>I don't keep up with celebrities.
Do you think some tattoos are pointless or stupid? Why or why not? <br>Any tattoo that is racist or gang related is f*cking studpid. Also getting your boyfriend or girlfriends name is stupid.
What makes a tattoo "great?" <br>Color theory, clean lines, and placement on the client.
