DeAnna and her friends all seemed fun and ready to party. We knew we had to bring the Greek to her. For the Gods and Goddesses party, there were costumes, hired models, food, decorations, specific liquor and so on. There were lots of different things to give it that Greek love. I liked surprising Deena with her fiancé and thought that was a nice touch.

When I first met Lauren, I thought she was really nice...wasn’t expecting blonde hair and blue eyes tho.

Paul, the DJ, is a good friend of mine and luckily he was in town already and it just worked out. When I go out to clubs, I like open format music with a lot of uptempo stuff.

I felt bad when Marcela wanted to go home because she was all upset at the time and I knew she would regret leaving. I just tried to reason with her the best I could and it worked out at the end of the day.

I only took my shirt off because the other girls were asking me to take it off.

The PJ party was just a thought I had because you know girls like their slumber parties. I only took my shirt off because the other girls were asking me to take it off. It’s Gina’s party at the end of the day and I just wanted to spice up the party however I could.

I decided to ask Bridget to visit the girls because when we were in Playboy, there was a pic of Bridget that they saw and they talked about how much they liked her. I mean, I don’t think Gina completely ditched her friends for Bridget, but I didn’t notice the drama unfolding at the time. I’m Ray Charles to the bullsh*t.

If I had Elliot’s job as butler for the weekend, I would have had more fun with it personally. I have had to do far worse in the line of duty and you gotta pay your dues. I think the weekend turned out great and Gina and the girls had a blast. They were a really fun group to work with.

I was really nervous about doing body shots with the girls at first.

Katie seemed excited and optimistic about a great weekend. The idea of Katie and her friends performing at Rain together was kind of a no brainer when we heard they were on a championship dance team. I just wanna dance. :)

I was a little nervous about putting them on stage because performing in front of that many people is nerve wracking even when you’re practicing every day. We can’t put performances on at the club that aren’t professional. It makes us look bad. They pulled through though. Having Robin Anton choreograph the routine was a no brainer. She’s one of the best in the business and I just was with her the week before. As for the performance, they smashed it. I was a little mad I couldn’t join the team but whatever. lol

A party bus wasn’t my idea, they have been entertaining young men and women in Las Vegas for years...I just facilitated. How better to ride around Vegas? I was really nervous about doing body shots with the girls at first, and then I realized that I work out. Lol ;) I’m willing to take one for the team, especially since Elliot pulled an epic #FAIL.

I have had to play bouncer plenty of times.

Emily seemed really nice, ready for a good time in Vegas. When we found out Emily’s friends got her and her fiancé a surprise honeymoon trip to Cancun, we realized that it was the big surprise we needed. Planning how to reveal it started as just a funny idea. Then we thought...wait a tick. This could actually work...Elliott. We’ve done stuff like this before, and decorating is kind of fun. This one was a little more elaborate than others, with a better payoff at the end with the Cancun trip.

We told Elliot to get 3 Amigos costumes but then again I forgot he’s probably never seen 3 Amigos. Lol He did a good job with the room and it all worked out in the end. I have had to play bouncer plenty of times. You just need to be respectful and handle it like a pro.

I thought the weekend was a success! Or at least I hope Emily thought so. I liked the country aspect of this weekend, keeps things fun and different.

Let’s kick off the party with a bang!
217

Lisa seemed pretty excited to cut loose in Vegas...trouble. lol We thought, let’s kick off the party with a bang! I liked the idea of a scavenger hunt for Lisa’s party because it’s something they can do together over the course of the trip. Plus they are easy to set up for the most part.

When I found out one of Lisa’s friends had a crush on me, I had to keep it moving. You have to stay separated from it...not good for business.

Overall, I think they had a blast...or hope they did. I mean, I know they had fun in the club! Lol. I especially enjoyed working with the girls...they were all pretty nice and appreciative.

I love that shock moment.

I liked Brasie. She was tough with some of the bridesmaids but really nice to us. She knew we were there to help.

I was a little concerned about getting Too Short to come to the party. He has been a home slice of mine for years but is extremely busy doing shows and has been recently working on a new album. A bachelorette party might not be on the top of list. Lol I've been known to pull off some magic, and I made it happen though.

It was fun partying with Brasie and the girls in the club. I think they were having a great time...my boy Shawny fierce was really having a good time. Lol

I think the weekend went well all in all. I mean a couple peeps got fired from being bridesmaids but as long as Brasie was happy, I’m cool with that.

My favorite part about planning this party was bringing Short in…always a party. I love that shock moment...it’s kind of my thing.

One thing I learned from this weekend is that some brides are pretty intense on these chicks.

Sometimes you gotta go the extra mile to crack that smile.

I have always enjoyed throwing parties. I remember putting together “staff outings” when I was bar backing at the Hard Rock. When the Palms opened the Fantasy Tower and Playboy Club, I moved from the Hard Rock to bartending at the Playboy Club at the Palms. Then I made the move to VIP Host at 9 group. Once I got a taste of putting on parties and taking care of people, I was hooked. From VIP Host I was promoted to Lead VIP Host and I started putting together parties for my birthday at Moon. I then took a position as Marketing Coordinator, where I was helping out with the events at Moon and Playboy. I was then promoted to Marketing Manager when I took over the marketing for Moon Nightclub. Eventually I was promoted to Director of Special Operations. I guess that you could say that event marketing has always been sort of my thing.

I kind of grew up here in Vegas, well I moved here my freshman year in high school. Las Vegas is unlike any other city in the world. This might be the only city in the world with this many nightclubs and with entertainment and marketing budgets of this size. Las Vegas is like the Super Bowl of my industry.

I would have to say that my Halloween party JROC-O-Ween is probably my favorite party. I had a choreographed Thriller performance that Joe Jackson actually helped with. It was right after Michael Jackson had passed away and both of his parents were in attendance. It was really a special moment for me and I hope for them also. It turned out amazing and I think that everyone had a good time. I mean TMZ picked it up, how bad could it be? lol Did I mention I was dressed as a Playboy bunny? Sometimes you gotta go the extra mile to crack that smile.

Actually a lot goes into planning a bachelorette party, I mean this is something that they are going to remember and talk about for the rest of their lives. And because everyone is different, ideas of fun, expectations, etc., it takes some conversation with the group to get to know the group so that you can put them in the position to just relax and have a good time. I feel like this is the one night/weekend to take a break from planning and let the pros go to work.

The best thing I like to do is to have a conversation about their “Dream” bachelorette party. I always like to ask them what they would do “if money was not an object?” Once they start talking in that mindset, it is pretty easy to get an idea of what they like or what they are expecting.

These are my top party planning tips:

Know a VIP host or promoter
Do bottle service
Meet your concierge and VIP services at your hotel...they are there to help!
Come with an even ration of guys or girls...or all girls :)
Be ready to party
Be ready to eat
Be ready to not sleep much
Gamble money you’re prepared to lose
Don’t think that you can do something in Vegas no one else has done already...just sayin

The craziest VIP request I’ve had to fulfill…all I can say is it involved a midget, ice cubes, a 9 iron, and a mini swimming pool. In terms of which celebrities I’ve worked with, I carry a strict don’t ask don’t tell policy. The main bottle service etiquette is called taking care of the people who take care of you. That is all.

The most stressful part of my job is when we are trying to do something special for a group and we either miss the mark or something goes wrong and the wow effect is missed. It really stresses me out and I feel bad that they didn’t get the best night/weekend of their life. If this happens I’ve always got something up my sleeve to ease the pain. Patron shots anyone?

I would have to say the most rewarding part of my job is when a group has the time of their life, and sometimes they get emotional. I mean I like it when they cry tears of joy because that means that I did my job! It’s definitely a gift and a curse sometimes but I like being “that dude” that people know to contact if they want to be set up here in Vegas.

I think that the difference between VIP work and regular hospitality service is the hours you spend with a group and how personal you can get with a group. Rather than just serving them a drink or meal, I am usually spending the entire night making sure that they have the best time possible and usually end up building friendships and lifelong relationships with these people. VIP work usually transcends all of the other hospitality companies.

If I had to work in any other city, I would have to say that I would probably have to go to New York City or Los Angeles. I like the fast-paced life of the big cities and I love people. I can’t see myself being isolated. It’s kind of like a flower with no sunlight… ya know?

Check out the crazy bachelorette party that Jason and his buddies planned for bride Brasie.
